Not being to use 't', 'b' or space to navigate the timeline is EXTREMELY annoying... I might switchback to SocialScope too - if I ever got an invite! Maybe Loic should just buy SocialScope and incorporate all the best features... seems to me he's done that before. ;)

I have to admit. After using it for a few days, I just can't live without my BB shortcuts. I'm a lazy typer, or I hate inefficiency, you pick. I'm using Seesmic to read tweets from my lists, but SocialScope for everything else.

Also missing from Seesmic is the ability to "Favorite" a tweet and search for a user. :/

Great, now I have to write a blog post about something...

A few admissions off the top.
1) I have never used the Seesmic desktop app
2) When the Seesmic app for BB was released I downloaded it, installed it, used for 5 minutes and deleted it. Incidentally, it was this Tweet that led me to try it: http://twitter.com/goaliegirl/statuses/5902177959

As a result of this blog post, I've re-installed the app with the intention of giving it at least a week. I'll try to remember report back after my Sessmic week.

Great review! Been trying it out myself and agree with pretty much everything you've said. I've been a user of the desktop client for a while (fortunately, I made the switch from TweetDeck before I'd invested too much time and effort in it!) and, like you, was excited at the prospect of a BlackBerry version. Looks like TwitterBerry will be getting retired!
